Event Description

TAKE Dance, led by Takehiro Ueyama, will present the premieres of In the Sea of Heaven, with lie music performed by award-wining Japanese musician/composer Kato Hideki and The Game 2, the second incarnation of the men's quartet from Ueyama's full evening Salaryman.  Also on the program is Les Reves d'apres Midi, by renowned choreographer/master teacher Kazuko Hirabayashi (1933-2016).  Though the style of the dance was outside of her usual body of work, Hirabayashi created a duet that is timeless in its beauty and humanity.
