Kozlova's International Ballet Competition

Valentina Kozlova announces the 6th annual Kozlova Int'l Ballet Competition, featuring 134 dancers from 20 countries around the world, from Russia to Ecuador, dancing for company contracts, scholarships and monetary awards.   The illustrious panel will be led by Andris Liepa (Russia), and include Charles Jude, Nina Ananiashvili, Nikolai Tsiskaridze, Martine Van Hamel, and other dance luminaries.  Rounds will be held april 26-28, Finals are April 29, and Saturday April 30 at 6 PM the Awards Ceremony will take place followed by the Gala Performance at 7 PM, with performances by the medalists and special guests, including New York City Ballet's Daniel Ulbricht & Erica Pereira dancing the Tschaikovsky Pas de Deux in memory of Violette Verdy, who was active with VKIBC since its inception.
