Event Description

Opening event of the 2014 Latina Cultural Festival at Queens Theater is Polly Ferman's "GlamourTango," a celebration of women in tango performed by an all-female cast of musicians, dancers, and vocalist. Uruguayan pianist Polly Ferman has created this stylish show that opens with a rarely seen 6-minute film of women in tango taken in 1940s Argentina, followed by live music, dance, and vocals by a stunning company of artists specializing in tango.
