Alessandra Belloni, renowned singer/percussionist/historian of ancient Southern Italian arts, presents her company I Giullari di Piazza in a benefit to honor actor Armand Assante, actress Eleonora Pieroni, and entrepreneur Jesus Puerto.  The event will feature a rousing performance of I Giullari's "Tarantata," an impeccably researched production with songs, tarantellas, and magic rituals used to cure the mythical bite of the tarantula, along with healing chants and ritual drumming in honor of the Black Madonna.  www.alessandrabelloni.com
