On-line Tetris- This takes a few minutes to start, but is a fun version of the classic falling blocks game from the Kirov. Ok, not the Kirov. But the game was designed in Russia. See the connection? Your browser must support Java for you to play this. Once the game is loaded and starts playing, you can disconnect (hang up) your phone line from your Internet Service Provider without interrupting the game play. Might as well let somebody else use the phone and eliminate on-line fees while you play. Want to make any comments?
Heroes in Tights Did you know that super-heroes and super bad guys took ballet, jazz, and modern dance as little kids? We aren't fooling! Think about it. These characters from the comics and Hollywood don't wear business suits - they wear tights, unitards, and jazz boots or slippers! Think about the way Spidey lunges, Superman lands, and Batman swings on his cable. Lots of barre time if you ask us!
DanceArt's Super Hero
Here is our version of a super-hero. Is he landing after rescuing a cat or is that perhaps a perfect cabriole (good luck counting the beats!)? We will never tell - we certainly won't tell that geeky little brother of ours that thinks Batman is sooo cool...

Imagine a super-hero dance teacher giving corrections:

"Spidey! - don't sit in those pliés, you are making my knees hurt just watching you!

And Superboy! Tighten up that 5th position - you won't get airborne if you keep that up!

Remember BatBrat - point those feet when you rappel down the wall! Deep plié when you land. Then do a big sissonne to catch the bad guy. No, no! Same arm and leg. Yes, that's it! Now punch him!"
