Event Description

Rosemary Novellino-Mearns, the dancer who saved Radio City Music Hall from destruction in 1978, will talk about her story and book, "Saving Radio City music Hall: A Dancer's True Story."   Rosie made the impossible possible when, as a member of the Music Hall Ballet Company and Dance Captain, she headed the committee that took on the big business interests that had decided to demolish the great Art Deco theater.  The highly visual presentation includes photos, films, and videos of TV interviews of the day.
